That might be true cos we don't see big companies using bitcoin to trade internationally neither domestically, we also don't see regular people using it to buy regular stuff at regular places. No adoption, no demand (because no one is selling their USD to buy BTC), so no rise in price. Its as simple as that.
I still think the risk of losing your NET is higher than just trading them. As I said, most of the community members will be able to participate in the kyc so there will be alot of demand and competition for the NET after mainnet release.
